What Successful People Do That Regular People Don’t

Recently I was ‘house shopping’.  I’m looking for a new house where I’ll spare

no expense to get EXACTLY what I want.

I’m not talking about big, garish or ostentatious…

But MY perfect house…

– big room for my 7 foot grand piano

-finished basement with wet bar, video screening room, home gym

and recording studio

-4 bedrooms,

-gourmet kitchen and baths’

-outdoor entertaining areas

-if not already there, room for a hot tub and maybe a pool

-quiet neighborhood

I strolled through a dozen homes in the very best part of town.

I knew INSTANTLY if the home was for me…I just KNEW.

No lingering or wavering…it only took me 15-20 min per house

to know if it was ‘in’ or ‘out’

Successful People Make A Decision

Well, amongst MANY things, one thing that truly
successful folks who EXPLODE to the top
and then stay there have in common is that
we don’t fuck around when it comes to
making a decision.

We know what we want, or like.
We CERTAINLY know what we don’t want, or like.
We make up our minds FAST.
And we make it happen like BOOM.

We truly don’t HAVE time for any other approach,
but also – part of how we GOT here is we learned
long ago to act fast from the gut and that there is
ZERO point in overthinking things.

I’m so committed to DECISIVENESS that
as soon as a potential client gets to the point

where they constantly question, worry,

wring their hands, waffle, vascilate without

making a commitment..without making

a decision……, I’ll cut them off

I can’t do it….
I won’t do it….
I just wouldn’t be able to put up with your
INANE REFUSAL TO MAKE UP YOUR MIND, and by the way?

Successful people make fast  decisions,

so I’d be MORE than a little worried about how

I could help you to get results if you’re not going

to decide and obviously ACT!

Which brings me to my next point…

Are You ‘One of Us?’

And about how EASY it is to tell who will make it,
who has what it takes, who IS, at their core, regardless
of any  results they may or may not be getting at the

current moment…, ONE of us.

I can tell, you know, if you’re one of us.
I could tell YEARS back (since forever!) for me,
and I’ve been able to tell the WHOLE TIME for you as well.
You’re marked as such.
It’s like a brand on your forehead.
You either ARE this sort of person –
Or you’re not.
Never will be.
It’s just not who you are!

What Successful People Do Differently

So, what do successful people do differently?
Well the simple  version is we do what it takes!!
But here is where those TRYING to be one of us will never get it.

Doing what it takes doesn’t simply mean the hustle,
the push, the follow-through, the doing of the BUSINESS work.
That’s the obvious stuff! We shouldn’t even have to talk
about it! It’s like saying in order to ice a cake you need icing
sugar. DUH, but WHAT ABOUT THE CAKE?

The CAKE, when it comes to success, is everything that is NOT the icing, the hustle, the doing of the work.

So in honor of swanky new house…my kick ass recording studio and my BADASS movie screening room in my party basement….,
allow me to present to you a short-list.

It’s not a comprehensive list.
You can add to it, if you like – IF you are one of us. But if you don’t meet at LEAST 100% of the following requirements, then sorry.

Your vote don’t count.
You’re fired off the successful folks island.
You were only ever waving from the shore anyway.

Okay. here it is..drum roll please…….

What Successful People Do That  Regular People Don’t

1. Successful people make FAST decisions, they act fast
from the gut and then they follow THROUGH.

2. WHEN do they follow through? Right away baby, ALWAYS
right away, were you thinking something else?

3. But if they change their minds they will once again
act FAST, from the gut, and they’ll drop that thing like
a hot potato. So what if it causes waves and commotion
and it’s embarrassing as well! So what? If it wasn’t a
fit it’s DONE, right away, and make no mistake about it.

4. Successful people take CARE of themselves. PERIOD.
They understand that fitness and health is NON NEGOTIABLE,
and they act accordingly.

5. Wait, you thought that was it? NO!! We take care of ourselves in
ALL AREAS. Physical. Spiritual. Emotional. Mental. Sexual. EVERYWHERE.
We know what we want and need and we’re gonna make it happen
because we SEE ourselves as the premium machines
we are, and act accordingly!

6. Successful people hang around other successful people,
and will RUTHLESSLY cut loose anybody who doesn’t meet
that standards. It’s not about being  heartless or egotistical.
It’s about I can’t hang out with you if you’re not one of us, and besides,
you’re boring as heck and I CAN’T HANG OUT WITH YOU
BECAUSE YOU DRAG ME DOWN.
That’s just common SENSE, baby!! It’s math! One successful
person plus one more equals MORE. See! Long story short, if
successful people aren’t hanging around you then YOU ain’t
successful honey. Game on, then! But also:

7. Successful people invest like NOBODY’S business to get to
where they want to go and know they WILL go. They don’t
focus on price as much as they focus on VALUE….the INVESTMENT.

Rather than ask “how much does it cost”…the FIRST   question we ask is

HOW MUCH WILL THIS MAKE ME???

If successful people  have to have something they commit and figure it
out later. WORD TO THE WISE: We did this when we were broke
and in debt too.

So your excuses don’t FLY, whether it’s money or time or Mercury  Retrograde
or whatever?  Excuses just don’t matter.  If you believe they do….
don’t make me laugh, but thanks for filtering yourself out.

8. Successful people are NOT victims. They NEVER blame anybody
or anything else. They are lifelong learners who will ALWAYS take
value from what the invest in largely because they DO THE WORK.
They understand that doing the work means doing it until it’s DONE,
not until YOU’RE done aka flaking out like a VICTIM.

9. Successful people will move MOUNTAINS to get to where they want to go. Do you understand what this means? Unless you ARE successful and HAVE created everything you set out to or are STILL  ACTIVELY – actively, and fully! – on your way then no. You don’t. Go move a  mountain and stop bitching about a pothole!!

10. Successful people see it as a done deal. And this is perhaps the
most important thing of all. There is no question in their mind that the
thing will sell, the money will be made, the shoot will kick ass, they will
look HOT in that new car, new outfit (for the ladies) of COURSE they’ll get the parking space / the table / the upgrade.

Don’t you understand now? We get what we WANT. We do what we want.  We snap our fingers and it’s DONE.

You either get this, because you ARE this, or you’re doomed to spend your life on the edges, waving frantically and hoping you’ll be let into the party as a pity entry. Well, that’s not how it works. We live like this without EVER questioning it, but it is hard fucking work every damn DAY and we sweat blood and tears and damn near our very SOUL out of our pores in our unending quest.

So don’t COME in here to my list…to the New Freedom Facebook group and act like you BELONG here if you’re not DOING that, because  WE CAN TELL and we will NEVER accept you.

Not because we don’t care about you, heck no.
But because you haven’t MET THE REQUIREMENTS.
And the worst thing of all?

You  know it baby.

Look, the truth is that most just don’t have what it takes,
and that is what it IS, but if you have what it takes and you’re not living it?

SHAME ON YOU.

Get your lazy ass into gear.
Wake up.
MAN/WOMAN UP.
And start acting like you know you came here for God’s good  reason.

And  to heck with worry about the right house…. t Of course its the Perfect One!!
