Sting….’Bad Ass’ Sales Master!!

Damn I’m jazzed…just saw Sting/Peter Gabriel ‘Rock Paper Scissors” Tour in Chicago…TOTALLY BAD ASS!!!

While I was at the concert I marveled at these two music legends playing side by side …alternating songs..hence the name of their tour..Rock-Paper–Scissors…brilliant!!

Sting and Peter Gabriel have also both been brilliant marketers.  Both were on the forefront of videos for music promotion, crossover marketing with other artists in other genres.  They have from day 1 understood that marketing was as important…sometimes moreso than the music…both to their undying credit both have kept musical standards the highest even while marketing their butts off.

Both Sting and Peter Gabriel have always been my favorite rock musicians.  Their musical originality, song writing brilliance and kick ass songs have ALWAYS given me juice….I love their passion.

What’s YOUR Passion???

My passion is my music!!!  I’ve been a serious musician for nearly 40 years!!  Semi professional choral music in two groups (one of my groups is touring in Europe at this very moment!!)

Took up piano at age 30…bought a baby grand piano so I could learn on a kick ass instrument!!

I’m playing in a rock band now….loving it.

In fact, making music and working out (prayer and having hot sex with my girlfriend) are all I really want to do.

And THAT’S my ‘Why‘

Why I left my big law firm job…

Why I never accepted a high pay, high pressure offer to become a highly paid litigator….

Why I don’t even answer my phone before noon…

I’m a  MARKETING MACHINE at learning  and implementing marketing because making money online gives me the FREEDOM I crave.

Freedom to create music, ride my mountain bike, travel, perform in multiple ensembles,  attend my 13 year old God daughter’s volleyball games, my 17 year old Godson’s varsity basketball games…

I wanted to go to Peter Gabriel/Sting so I went (actually I said I wanted to go and my girlfriend surprised me with tickets….great seats too.

That’s right…I pretty much get whatever I want because I set my mind to it and implement what’s required.
