Tough love time.   Seems many of you have been moving and grovin and attending the various live events being held this summer.  Cool in and of itself but here’s the issue.

Those some people who have been ignoring my instruction to focus on fundamentals FIRST BEFORE THEY GO TO LIVE EVENTS AND SPEND MONEY are the same ones who are now complaining to me about how they HAVE to make some money now…”Kevin help me help me help me..I’ve spent so much money at events and now I have to make some of it back.”

No sympathy my friends.  You knew you needed to focus your time and money on driving traffic, generating leads (your goal is 25 leads/day) and then converting those leads….but you didn’t.

Instead, you went off chasing the “magic bullet” believing just being in the presence of some guru marketers (who are doing THEIR job by getting you to opt in, pay money and buy THEIR stuff!!) will make you money.

And lo and behold now you see you have LESS money in your pocket than you did before…but hey, you had lunch with Mr/Ms. X who is a 7 figure earner right??!!!

I’ll say this again (for the umpteenth time) your daily task is as follows:

1. Create a compelling offer

2. Drive Truckloads of targeted traffic to that offer

3. Generate targeted leads from that traffic

4. Convert those leads to sales

You see, its WAY easy to spend money…not nearly as easy to make it.  But unless you stop flitting around, letting marketers convince you to spend your money on “magic bullet” type items, you’ll always swirl around in this hangover- like stupor that follows most live events.

Don’t misunderstand me.  I have made some fabulous connections at live events…however I’ve also wasted enormous amounts of time and money.  As a result, now  I don’t attend any live event unless I first meet my own daily, weekly and monthly lead generation targets.

And while you were off having lunch with Jonathan Budd or whomever, I was doing what YOU should have been doing first… generating 50 leads/day, making $6,000 and putting the finishing touches on two new products.

Now, I attend only those events where I believe I can learn something frm people making MORE than me where I can directly impact my ability to drive traffic, convert leads and/or make sales.

I know what you need to know…that there are NO magic bullets.

And just so you know where my business is going in the very near future.  Starting in September (if not before) all my training will only be available on a members only blog site.  I will still conduct the Tuesday night live 7 Figure Gameplan training and maybe 1 blog post per week will be available here on this blog.   However, the Monday and Saturday Trainings will be available only to the members area.  More on this later…

So, as my girl Gwen Stefani sings…if you want to be rich, you better start getting back to basics…and stop crying to me!!
