The irony is that while there is a substantial learning curve in the beginning, once you get on top of the technical challenges (if you use the right marketing system this is a breeze), the technology does most EVERYTHING for you. When you use the technology correctly, all you have to do is talk to the people who have already been “pre-sold” by virtue of your websites and automatic and live follow up systems.
Another key is to have a personal mentor who can guide you through the maze of systems, products and distractions that you will be assaulted with when you first come online.
For example, the first thing I do with a new team member is conduct a 60 minute evaluation where I determine what skills the team member has and then I literally build a step by step marketing plan for them including quantitative benchmarks and time frames.
