“What Would It Take For You To Be Great?”
Hey Everyone:
Let me tell you a story….
About 4 years ago my life was a mess.
While I had earned several high powered
degrees including degrees from Notre and
a law degree fromUniv of California at Berkley …
(even a 1 year stint in Medical School at
Univ of Michigan at Ann Arbor…”Go Blue”)
I was miserable.
When I wasn’t working my ass off 70 hours a
week..I was wondering where the next
piece of business was coming from.
These extremes were killing me literally
and I wanted out.
Three years ago, I literally stumbled across
a crazy online ad with a guy in a
hammock on a beach promising me
that I could make money from home
on the internet….”YEAH RIGHT”
After shaking off my initial skepticism,
I decided to see what this guy was
all about…after all…what I had going on
in my life wasn’t so hot…so what did I
have to lose by giving this crazy hammock
guy a try.
He showed me videos of other people
who had done it…of course I believed
I could do it too.
So I began my quest for online riches….
not so fast!!! I didn’t know JACK
about creating a business online…I mean
nothing.
Failure after failure….product after product
with basically nothing for the first year
and a half. In retrospect, OF COURSE
I FAILED…There wasn’t anything wrong
with the industry or the products…the]
real problem was….I didn’t know what I was
doing.
Everybody and I mean EVERYBODY
thought me, the big time lawyer from Cal
Berkeley had lost his mind..and they
gradually distanced themselves from me
I’ll admit there were times I even began
to doubt myself…but I NEVER quit.
I KNEW there was greatness in me…
and that all I had to do was learn what
the right steps were to get at it…
And I was convinced this online marketing
was the road to get there. I saw
others doing it and I KNEW they
weren’t any smarter than me…
and that they just knew something I didn’t…
And I was DETERMINED to learn
what it was.
Fast forward another 2 1/2 years and
I again, literally stumble across this
goofy cartoon with a black guy
wearing a crown and calling himself
“the king of never having to call a
single lead.”
That got my attention.
because now that I was further along,
I had learned to generate leads but
I had the bitter taste of rejection after
rejection…didn’t feel good and I was
intrigued that this “king guy” never called
a single lead… and he claimed to use
his system to generate a downline
of over 8,000 people!!!
I bought his program and applied
the principals in it and I used it as a test
on a very small list
of less than 300 people. (in case it bombed
I wouldn’t embarrass myself in front
of my entire list)
In less than 2 weeks I had made
over $2,000!!! That was as much
as I had made the previous two
years combined….I HAD FOUND
THE ANSWER.
Since then, I’ve incorporated these principles
into all my marketing and I now have used it to
build 2 other online businesses.
I have a number of personal coaching
students who I taught it to and:
- one became the top Affiliate in
a recent promotion
-another has launched his own business
from scratch in less than 10 weeks..
And on and on.
Every damn day I say to myself..
“I wish I had known this years ago…I’d
own the state of Rhode Island by now.”
